DNPA Code of Ethics

Our commitment to responsible, ethical digital publishing

🏛️ What is the DNPA Code?

The Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) Code of Ethics is a set of editorial principles adopted by digital news and information publishers in India to ensure responsible, fair, and transparent content creation and distribution.

CurrentTaxYear.com voluntarily adopts and abides by the DNPA Code of Ethics as part of our commitment to being a trustworthy, accurate, and user-first financial information platform.

📌 CurrentTaxYear.com is committed to providing accurate, unbiased, and transparent financial and tax information to Indian users.

📋 Our Editorial Principles

  • AccuracyAll tax rates, slabs, formulae, and financial data published on CurrentTaxYear.com are sourced from official government documents, CBDT notifications, and Finance Ministry publications. We verify information before publishing and update it promptly when laws change.
  • ⚖️
Fairness & ImpartialityOur content does not favour any political party, financial institution, or individual. We present tax information neutrally, without promoting specific investment products or financial services for commercial benefit.
  • 🔍
TransparencyWe clearly disclose the basis for all calculator results, including assumptions, formula sources, and known limitations. We clearly label sponsored content (if any) as distinct from editorial content.
  • 🔒
PrivacyWe respect user privacy. Financial data entered into our calculators is processed entirely in the browser and never stored or transmitted. See our full Privacy Policy.
  • 📣
AccountabilityWe welcome corrections. If we publish incorrect information, we will investigate promptly and issue corrections transparently. Users can report errors via our Policy Correction page.
  • 🙅
No MisinformationWe do not publish misleading, exaggerated, or unverified claims about tax rules, investment returns, or government policies. All content is fact-checked before publication.
  • 🧒
Protection of UsersWe do not target vulnerable users with fear-based financial content. All information is presented in a helpful, educational manner with clear disclaimers about professional advice.
  • 💼
Editorial IndependenceAdvertising, if present on the platform, does not influence our editorial decisions. Calculator results and content recommendations are never altered based on commercial relationships.
